AI Strategy & Readiness

Know where AI will pay off before you spend on it

AI strategy consulting and AI readiness assessments for established UK organisations.

Most organisations do not need another AI demo. They need someone who understands how the business actually runs, can see where AI would save time or improve service, and will say plainly where it would not.

We look at your processes, systems and data, and come back with a short list of AI opportunities, each with a business case, a cost and an owner.

What we do

Three Ways We Help

AI Readiness Assessment

A structured look at your workflows, systems, data and team, ending in the two or three AI opportunities worth doing first.

  • Where your team’s time actually goes
  • Data and systems readiness
  • Opportunities ranked by saving and effort

AI Strategy & Roadmap

Where AI fits in your organisation over the next twelve months: what to build, what to buy, what to leave alone, and in what order.

  • Use cases with a business case each
  • Build, buy or wait decisions
  • A roadmap with owners and milestones

AI Governance & Adoption

The policies, controls and training that let your team use AI safely and consistently.

  • AI acceptable use policy
  • Data protection and UK GDPR boundaries
  • Team training and change support

How We Work

We start with a short discovery: how the work happens today, where time is lost, what your customers and staff keep asking, and where your information lives.

Then we come back with a plan you can act on: what to do first, what it needs, what it should return and how success will be measured. You keep the plan whether or not you build it with us.

Our recommendations come from more than 20 years of connecting websites, databases, CRMs, APIs and membership systems. That matters, because an AI tool is only useful once it works with the systems you already run.

Who It Is For

AI strategy from Cloud 9 suits organisations that want practical change rather than a slide deck.

  • Leadership teams that know they need an AI plan but not where to start
  • Membership organisations and trade associations modernising member services
  • Professional services firms losing time to admin
  • Organisations whose staff already use ChatGPT or Copilot without a policy
  • Businesses with legacy systems and scattered data
  • Teams without in-house AI or technical leadership

Frequently Asked

What is an AI readiness assessment?

A short, fixed-fee review of your processes, systems, data and team. It shows where AI can help now, what needs to be in place first and what each opportunity is likely to be worth.

How long does it take?

Usually two to four weeks, depending on the size of the organisation and how many teams are involved.

Do you only advise, or do you build too?

Both. We build the automations, AI agents, assistants and integrations the plan recommends, so it does not stall at the handover.

Do we need an AI policy?

If your staff use ChatGPT, Copilot or similar tools, yes. A short acceptable-use policy sets out what information can go into them, what a person must check and who is accountable.

What does it cost?

The assessment is a fixed fee and the plan is yours to keep. Builds are quoted as fixed scope once the plan is agreed.
